Am I gonna get any taller?!?
Oh my goodness! I need to grow taller, because I want to be a runway model. I’m only 5’5 and I JUST turned 14, so can I still grow? Does shoe size have anything to do with how tall you’ll be? I’m 8 or 8 1/2. I used to be taller than everyone, but now everyone’s is growing taller than me.

People all grow at different rates. One day you could be the tallest person in your school the next day you could be the shortest.
Fortunately for you at your young age its highly unlikely for you to stop growing.
You should probably start measuring how tall you are every month or so…just to be positive that you truly are growing.
Another way of finding out is to ask a doctor.
What I think it sounds like is that your not short, its just your surrounded by taller individuals.
You shouldnt worry though, my sister is 18 and is still growing, so I dont think youd actually stop at that age.
All in all 5’5 is a decent hight for females, model or not. All I say is you shouldnt be too concerned.

people grow in bursts, not steadily over time so don’t be worried if your not growing at the moment, and most people keep growing taller until around the age of 19 or 20 so I wouldn’t worry about that, at 14 you’ve definatly got some growing to do yet.
By the way there is nothing wrong with short people.
If you are 14, then you still have room to grow. It all depends on your puberty rate. It all varies from person to person, if you got your period, with, say 11 yrs of age and your body hasn’t been really changing, then sorry-the growth potential isnt gonna be too much.
If you just recently got your period and have really noticed that you have been growing, then your gonna be the next heidi klum.
There have been small models-I’m only saying Kate Moss- so even if you dont get to be, like 5.8 or something, you will do great.

Females usually stop growing at 15 and often earlier but sometimes growth continues beyond 15.
