Recently purchased a 2002 f150 super crew. I don’t want to lift my truck, just would like another inch or two of clearance. Will bigger tires accomplish this, or will they have to be so big that they look ridiculous.

that would absolutely work, however, it can get quite expensive for tires that size, and chances are, you want new wheels (rims) as well.
Yea I think it would.
no. you can get tires that will make your car go higher up without looking totally stupid.
just go to jensen ( or whatever machanic you go to )
Yes but to get 2" of lift you would need a tire that’s 4" taller.
Yes, it will add clearance but the speedometer will be off. You will be going faster than what the speedometer says.
No you can do it with the tires. But what you’ll gain in clearance, you might lose in turning diameter if you go too big. I’d say do +2. If they’re 16" go to 18". Wouldn’t go bigger than 20 though.
yes u can but it will be bad on gas the trk is calibrated for every thing put on the tk including sensors that might be in the wheels and it could cause the idiot light to come on ur tk but u can go to a higher size of tire it could put an inch or two on but be carefull and make sure u have the turning clearence for the tire or ull be replaceing tierods hope this helps and remember the bigger the tire the bigger the turning ratio so more gas is needed and ate up the bigger the tire
To get 2" more clearance you need a tire 4" inches taller. To do that you will likely need a 3" body lift or maybe a 2" front leveling kit, if its available for your truck. Your speedometer will be off. You will probably gain a little fuel economy on the highway and lose some in the city. Your ABS system and all that should work just fine with a small change like that.
