Dude, don't panic - you may still wind up as tall as you're hoping to be. Or, you may match your dad. Genetics are funny - no one can truly predict how the human genome will express itself. If height is really crucial to your healthy emotional development, then I wish you the best. But being 6'1" hasn't helped me any. I have to shop for wide shoes (EE-EEE width); jeans are a nightmare - I have a 30" waist and a 35"-36" inseam - nearly impossible to find. And, considering I'm not overly large (165-170 lbs.), I have to find shirts with a 17" collar and 34" sleeves (again, no picnic). So, no matter how far the top of your head is from the ground, be proud of your stature. You can look as great at 5'8" as you can at 6'2". Remember, before Tom Cruise was better known as a fanatic, he was a star, and his height is about 5'8" - dude's still a millionaire many times over. Good luck.
