Does Calcium Help People get Taller?
I Know that Calcium helps people have strong bones and helps people grow when they have a growth spurt, But does it Help people grow taller just by taking it? (and Ive asked questions on here about this already, I KNOW, you dont have to tell me…..Im just tryin to find out more about Health and stuff)…and if so, whats the best source of calcium to take? milk? cheeses? or supplements?

yes, IF you are not getting enough Calcium in your normal diet, but if you are eating right it probbly won’t help. Best source is milk as i know it is helping me to get even taller, but the other reason is supplements can be dangerous, it is possble to bult up to much calcium in the blood stream and can be life threating. I know cause my aunt is a nurse and told me about I guy that happened too. Stick with food for calcium intake.
Only if you stand on a box of calcium pills.

actually, once you have reached about 18, you are pretty much done growing. the only thing that calcium would maybe do is make your bones stronger. that’s it.
i have been drinking milk ever since i was a child. i recently found out that, from my dentist, i have very long roots on my teeth. that is from calcium. if ever i would have to have my teeth pulled, it’s going to be more painful for me then a normal person. i don’t think calcium effect everyone the same. and you know, you can create calcium deposits, which are painful. be careful with vitamins and suppliments. you get a majority of your beneficial vitamins from your food. as long as you eat a well balanced diet, you should’t need to take anything until you get older, like around 35-40 years old. if you are about that old, then i would suggest a daily vitamin, like sentrum. best of luck.
