how can i grow taller?
Im only 12 and soon to be 13 and im about to slow down growing. Im not sure if i even had my growth spurt yet. But anyways im 4 ft 8in and i need some tips to grow taller!! plz help me
and i had my period like a few months ago and i heard that could really slow you down from growing
My mom is somewhere in 5 ft my dad i think he is near 6 ft. Dad side of the family: My grandma was really small & My grandpa is pretty tall i think as tall as my dad. My moms side her mom is as tall as her and her dad is a little smaller maybe because he slumps a lot.

That is something you have no control over. Sorry to say. You just have to let nature take its course on that one. However, there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with your height as is.
Someone misinformed you about your growth – you keep growing until and while you’re at college age. What you need to grow is – patience! You’re fine…….you’re not about to stop growing. Good luck!
Sorry you can’t grow. Growing is all in your body if you run for about 10-20 minutes everyday for a week after the week has gone you will grow.
Sweetie..don’t worry about growing taller too quickly. You still have several years to grow. If you don’t grow much taller don’t worry about that. It’s better to be smaller. 6’2 woman have trouble finding men to date. I’m only 5′l and I’m a grown adult. I don’t have a problem finding guys to date.. cuz they are ALL taller than me.. lol However, if you want to appear taller, then get those flat sandles that have a 2 inch base at the bottom (target, walmart etc). Eat a good diet full of whole foods and variety such as veggies, fruits, proteins (preferably lean like beans or fish), whole grains, and some fats such as nuts or olive oil.
Give your body the proper fuel and you will grow as tall as your body allows.
Your ultimate height depends on your genetic make up .you cannot change that.
At present it is much too soon to say what your ultimate height will be-you have at least 4 years growing yet ,maybe more. You cannot compare yourself with your friends-each is an individual at different stages in the pubertal development. and height ,breast size ,menstrual pattern,hair growth may all vary enormously at this age-all are normal

You can grow until you are 18 years old…and there are some exceptions that it you can grow longer or stop growing sooner.
A lot of it depends on genetics. How tall is your mom? Your dad? Your dad’s family? Your mom’s family?
Talk to your parents or doctor about prescription HGH (Human growth hormone). It’s very expensive, but I’m not sure how it works and if you can qualify for a discount through insurance.
