Im 17 years old and im 5.8 im wondering if i can get any taller?
well my dad is 5 foot 11 inches.( my uncle was 6.2) my mom is 5 foot 2 inches (and her dad was 6.1) . i am wondering what is the possible height i can reach or if i am going to even grow anymore. i have been lifting since i was 15, took a few supplements when i was younger now i am just trying to maximize my height by stretching to taking amino acids and calcium/vitamin d and mineral pills. i am stretching everyday, i am wondering if i should stop working out with weight and hope to grow any taller or what? can anyone help me? i could really use an answer.

Ok.. It doesn’t matter really what your uncles were.
It really is estimated by your parents.
Estimation equation for predicted height.
Mother hgt in cm + Father hgt in cm+ 5cm ( for boys) all divided by 2
62 + 71 + 5 = 138/2 = 69 inches
or 5 foot 9 inches is your predicted height.
Could you vary one to two inches either way? Sure.
Don’t take any steroids.
Work out, do what you want, it’s in your genes at this point.
try basketball and swimming. stretching every morning (first thing you do after you open your eyes) and before you go to bed.
plus, lifting at a young age and taking supplements (what kind?? like protein?) might have stopped you from growing taller.
it sounds like you may grow taller ,if you have family that is taller , stop t he drugs and let it happen , stretching is great but it will not make you taller. many men will grow taller after 17
Dude, I think you’ve stopped growing. But if you want to get aaaaaalittle taller do some back streches in the morning and at night. If not, you could always bring back the platform shoes-jk.- though that would be really cool.
