Hi!..I always wanted to grow tall. I’ve done everything to get tall. My dads abt 152 cms and my mom almost da same. We r Asians and i suppose genetics count. My friends tell me tat this is da maximum i can grow. But i wanna become tall, atleast 5’11" or 6′(well im fantasizing alright). Is there anything i can do??(Diet ,exercises etc.) so tat i can grow much taller…of course I am into basketball, swimming and all other stuff too…Please help me..!!!!
Any tips on how to grow taller besides genetics so dont say that and dont say wear heels. I hate wearing them.

Well, to start off with, I’m a 17 year old girl. (I was born on March of 1993)
And my current height is 160cm.
These days I’m so constantly worried whether I will grow taller or not because I am definitely not satisfied with my height.
I didn’t used to be so worried about heights before; because when I was 13, I had my bone age tested at the hospital and the system predicted my height to be 169cm in the future.
But while going through adolescence, I had several problems concerning my family and financial difficulties.
And those things were too heavy on me, I got so stressed out and gained heaps of weight during the ages 14~17 and I still am rather overweight. And I think these fat have pulled me back from growing up to 169 cm like the system had predicted.
What I am most curious is ;
1. Will I be able to grow more? especially if I start dieting from now?
2. And I want to reach at least 165. Will that be possible?
3. Is there ANY chance of me growing up to 169?
4. What are there that I can do to quickly grow before I stop growing totally.
Im so self conscious about the height issue, I even try to measure myself walking on the streets..Please Answer me ! Thanks for reading.
I just have to note ; It has been proven in my case that my genetics show I can grow upto 169 according to the computer systemized test I took at a hospital ! so please try not to say anything about the ‘genetics’.
I have been looking around yahoo answers and seen that any question asking how to get taller usually has answers like eat food and have a balanced diet and you will grow taller or its all up to genetics. Who is right? I need actual proof, like a website or whatever.
I understand its mainly genetics. But what else can i do to grow more? Include things like diet (what vitamins/foods etc.) and also anything else (i heard playing basketball helps since you stretch out your arms/back alot). Thanks!

I’m 18 years old and am at or about 6” 1′.
However, i am not satisfied with my height at all. my dream height would be 6” 3′ but im pretty sure that’s not gonna happen because of genetics and fact that im probably pretty much done growing. however, ill take any extra height i can get. even a quarter of an inch. ive heard of this idea of "growing taller naturally after puberty" but im not sure if this is just a scam or if there is some truth to this?

I am 5’11 or a fraction over in height and I am 20 but you know I really would not mind being a height like 6’2 or 6’4. Okay 6’4 is an insane goal to aim for if I wore lifts that would just make me look pathetic woulden’t it?

I just turned 18, and i’m standing at 5’10 with shoes, i hit the gym 6 days a week, eat an extremely healthy and balanced diet, ive packed on 30 pounds of muscle in the last year,, i heard that men stop growing taller until they hit 23, by the sound of my lifestyle, do i still have a chance to break the 6’1 mark lol? just wondering

Can eating the proper foods, getting enough sleep, and doing certain exercises help you grow taller?
For eating properly, I mean eating foods with the nutrients necessary for growth, for sleeping I mean sleeping around 8-10 hours, and for exercising I just want to know if doing exercises like jogging and jump roping can help. I would also like to know if eating yogurt or six meals a day could help you grow taller or at least help you lose weight. Please don’t post any obvious information about growth, myths, or any biased or ignorant answers, such as "genetics is everything".
I’ve just turned 15 two months ago, and I’m at 1.57 – 1.58. Problem is, I really want to grow just a few inches taller, preferably to my maximum height, but I want to tone myself down. My upper body is okay, but my butt and my thighs are massive. Apparently, it’s genetics, but I still want to tone them down properly and grow taller.
So I just wanted to know: is there anything I can do to grow taller to my max height naturally, like by playing sport? And how do I tone my lower body properly?
