I was wondering if someone knew where a news article on human growth hormone being used in sport would be, and also where to find out the penalty for using HGH in sport, if there is one.

I’m not asking you to do it for me or anything, just websites that can lead me to this information.

I am a 19 years old boy.
I am better in eating habits than some of my friends.
Still find that their body is longer than mine in regards like their height, face length and width, finger’s length.
I wonder the reason, still think that it is just due to growth hormone (GH) secretion difference within the body.
I am now thinking forward to consult a doctor.
I need more growth especially for my face, in length.
But before that, need your view, is it right to ask a doctor for the GH.
Is it safe to take external dose of GH?
I don’t want to make my fun in front of doctor so asking u.
Also tell me if there is any other reason for these differences.
Please guide me.
Thanks :) Although I got and liked your answer, but just want to add something, to guide others, after searching at the same topic here.
Human Growth Hormone, if taken externally, reduces the amount of naturally producing HGH.
So the body becomes dependent on the external dose.
In order to meet the body requirement of hormone, one may have to be dependent on the external dose for whole of the life and hence keep expending over it.
So the best idea is to take a diet rich in proteins and dairy products which help in building proper and natural GH.
Your additions or updates are welcome.
It’s just to help others who are referring this question. :)
Thanks. :)

I’m 13, of course I’m not going to get injections of unnatural HGH or supplements, but if I take supplements (Life Extension™ Pituitary Support) that increase my HGH, will I grow taller. You may think I’m crazy because I’m 5′11 (just turned 13 and I’m almost 6 ft!) so why would I want to grow but I want to play basketball and dunk. Help me out and you’ll get 10 points! (By the way I don’t appreciate short, unhelpful comments and people who say you can’t grow taller…)
I think they don’t work for someone past growth plate age but it contains glycine and other vitamins that activate HGH. I asked you. Can HGH help me grow???? And what foods have agrinine orthinine?

I am 17 years old. I am 5-2 and currently unmatched in shortness for my entire grade level (Junior). I suspect that it is purely genetic, maybe combined with my unrelenting childhood stress, cause my mother is 5-0 and father is 5-8. I haven’t grown in a whole year and I’m afraid that perhaps my growth has stopped. I realize that genetics isn’t the only thing that contributes to height, and there are many websites that offer supplements with varying credibility, but do you think I should ask my doc for considering HGH? FDA recently approved for males who aren’t expected to reach 5-3 or taller, even if it is not due to an underlying disease. Is it too late or is there hope. THx.
