Grow Taller 4Idiots image

This summer I’m taking modeling classes and I was searching for modeling agencies and so far every one has a requirement of being atleast 5’7 well sadly I am 5’3. What are some natural ways to grow taller. Sleep? Stretch? Certain foods to eat? Help me pleeeaase.

Im 5’3 or 5’4 without my shoes on. my dad is around 5’7 or 5’8, and i would love to grow at least to 5’10. Is that possible? and Since summer is about to start im going to have more time to eat, sleep, exercise, and stretch better. If anyone has n e suggestions like food(meals), exercise, or stretching wise i would really appriciate it. thanks

I really really just want to grow one or two more inches. Is this possible? I have heard of people putting weights on their legs while they sleep and other weird methods but am skepticle of trying them. Is there any remote way to get my height up at this point? I would do anything.

I’m 14 and I am 5 ft 1 and I hate being this short, I feel like an 11 year old and it looks awkward sometimes when I hang out with friends that are like 5ft 5 or 5ft 6. So what foods or drinks help you grow? What is the best stretching exercise to grow? And what about sleep? I’d appreciate it if you give me an answer to some or just 1 of the answers I have posted. Well, I am 13 years old and 5’1. I weigh 92 pounds…how do I get taller? I’ve already gone through puberty and all of that. I’ve been drinking a cold glass of milk every night and going to bed at 9:30-10PM. I went through puberty quite early–the middle of my fifth grade year. I know this is just another stereo type, but I’m asian and they say its harder to become taller when you’re asian? Anyway, I want to grow taller without wearing wedges or high heels…naturally without taking any prescription/medicine/acids or punctures. What do you suggest for someone my age to grow taller? I’m planning on playing more sports during the summer. I’ve never gone out of the house that much–my mom never has the time to take me and my dad isn’t well..in contact anymore. So I have NEVER been to any amusement parks–including Disneyland nor have I played many sports outside of my P.E. class. I’m signing up for badminton and it starts next week, but its only for 20 days. My mom is planning on signing me up on volleyball during the summer, but like I said only for a few weeks. I don’t really exercise…once I eat my belly is pretty full but when I sleep all that belly fat goes away in the morning (mostly). P.E. classes at school help too, since we run twice a week around a really big track. I want to get taller then my mom, who is 5’3 and 42. I want to be at least 5’5-5’7 by the time I get out of highschool. I want to be at least 5’2 or 5’3 in two years. Thanks :)

my grandma also says if you have long legs even if you’re short you’ll grow tall.. and i have long legs for a short girl but idk because i used to drink a lot of coffee when i was little and i didn’t get much sleep.

I’m 15, female, 5"7 and I want to be either 5"9 or 5"10. I heard on a good website that it is esential that you get a certain amount of sleep to increase your growth by a half an inch or a full inch, but they wouldn’t say how much sleep you needed because they wanted me to buy their book.

If there’s anything you can suggest I would be very greatful.

I just became 15 this month

I’am a guy and I’am just 5 feet tall

I drink milk occasionally (I often forget)
I eat 3 full meals a day and a snack in the morning,
sometimes in the afternoon and sometime at night.

I sleep around 8hrs a day

I sleep facing the sides with my knees bended and hugging a pillow.
-is this bad?some say I should sleep straight facing the ceiling.

I stopped growing more than a year now (I think a year and a half)..
I think I just grew a cm in that duration..

My mom and sister are short (I think both of them are 4’11")
but my bro is about 5’6"-5’8" tall, my dad is 5’4"-5’6" I think..

J.S. prom is in 15 days and I want to attend and dance. But I don’t want to be this short..
Many girls are at the same hight as mine or maybe an inch or 2 taller than me..
but they would still be wearing hilled shoes..

So I want to grow maybe an inch or 2 before the prom. Is this possible?
Or are there any tips for me to start growing again even in not a 15 day period?
Or are there any tips in me to look and become taller?
Is carrying stuff and exercise (pull ups, push ups and sit ups) bad for growing?
-they say you would stop growing or even become shorter by doing these.

Ok, so I just turned 15 a few days ago (gr. 10) and I’m 5’6 without shoes on. I’m a guy btw. I want to know how tall I will grow.

My dad is 5’10 and a half. Hes 176cm tall

My mom is 5’3

My mom’s father is 6’0 and my mom’s brother is 6’0

My dad’s sisters are around 5’7-8 and my dad’s brothers are 5’11

My dad grew really late. He grew 2-3 inches when he was 18-20. I saw a picture of him, he was around 5’6 in high school.

My dad’s side cousins (who are in their 20s) are 6’6”(seriously hes tall as a freak, he also is a pro golf player), and 6’1”. I have a cousin who is the same age as me and the last time we met which was in the summer he was 1 cm taller than me.

My mom side has only one cousin and shes a girl ( if you need to know shes like 5’4 and shes 16)

So, I’m like the 4th shortest guy in my grade (theres 55 guys in my grade). And i’m the same height as a guy who’s parents are (5’7 and 5’0).

I sleep aroudn 61/2- 71/2 hours a day.

I drink choclate milk in random bursts (like 1 week i’ll drink a lot and the next week i’ll drink very little)

I’ll admit i don’t eat vegetables. my parents pampered me when i was a kid so they never made me eat my vegetables and now i hate vegetables. (i’m trying to start eat vegetables, like carrots and celery in my dinner (but this is still not often, I go many days without eating a single vegetable)

I am stressed. I go to a super competitive highschool and quite a few of the students sleep 6 hours a day or less. we have a lot of hw and projects and the like. (95% of our student body gets 90% or higher percentile on all sections of the SAT and PSAT)

I don’t really know why i’m so stressed about my height. it also doesn’t help that i’m one of the shortest guys in the grade and even my friends who used to be the same height as me are shooting up.

So, if you actually know how tall people grow and you can enter this data into the brain of yours just attempt to give me an estimate of how tall I will grow.

P.S. I heard basketball makes you grow taller by jumping. I don’t play basketball mainly becasue i’m so short, but i want to know if its true. If there are any suggestions that people do that help them gain height (no pills or surgery) I would appreciate it.

I’m 5’8", 144 IBs and 15 years old turning 16 on september 29. It seems I’ve been growing really slow. I used to be taller than all my friends now everybodies caught up to me or shot up way above me. I was 5’7" in the 7th grade and now I’m about to start 10th and I’m only 5’8". I think it has to do with my diet because I haven’t been eating much meat at all. I’ve been taking a calcium supplement everyday. I started lifting weights in the 8th grade could this have something to do with my slower growth rate? Please tell me all the factors in my life I should change so that I could reach my full height potential. Diet, sleep, exercise, etc. I really appreciate everyone who helps me with my problem. i wana know if growth hormones work and other stuff. i’v been stressin alot for the past couple months and not gettin enough sleep and not eating a well balenced diet, if i change all this do you think i can grow adlease to 6 foot?

Okay so I am 14 and I got my period about 2yrs and a few months ago. Now I know that a lot of people say girls stop growing 2yrs after having their period but I grew 1/4 of an inch over the summer. I am 5"4, my mom is 5"5 and my dad is 6ft. Do you think ill get taller?

*NOTE: Im a vegetarian but i take supplements such as b12 &omega3
& on school days i go to sleep at 11pm and wake up at 7am

I know that genetics decides how tall we grow. But if a person already has good genes regarding height (all family members 5’7 + tall), what he/she should do to attain maximum height possible while growing like what exercises, how many hours o sleep, what food , etc?

At this point in my life, I am 15 years old and am sixty-six inches tall. Both my parents are 5’10", and I read that teenage girls stop growing taller at age 16 or 17, which is not long from now. I’ve recently met with some modeling agents at Next Models LA, and they seemed ecstatic about me, but were extremely hesitant about my height, saying that "I could use two or three inches." Last year I suffered with malnutrition, and I am terrified that it may have stunted my growth. I am eating a sufficient diet now(although I am vegetarian), and I get a good amount of sleep and exercise. I also take multivitamins and calcium supplements daily, and yet I have not grown for months. Am I done growing, or is there something else I can do to reach my maximum height?
